Entrance Of A Church

Entrance of Basílica de Nuestra Señora de la Soledad

I found a man entering into the church

Shot in the city of Oaxaca, Mexico.

A man was just entering into a church and receding into the shadows. The church was The Basílica de Nuestra Señora de la Soledad. It is built between 1682 and 1697 by Father Fernando Méndez on a site where supposedly an image of the Virgin Mary appeared inside a box.

I didn't know whether the story was true or not. Anyway, the architecture was magnificent. And I could know the church possessed wealth so much at that time.
