The man with the turban on his head had a long, bushy beard. At first I thought he might be a sadhu, a Hindu practitioner, but the way his turban was wrapped around his head looked different. He looked like someone from Afghanistan. But this is Pune, India. He was probably not a Pashtun living around Afghanistan.
When I looked at his face, there was no mark on his forehead like a sadhu person wears. Given the peppery beard, the man is probably a Sikh. Sikhs do not cut their hair or beard as "God-given".
