A man stood in a small barbershop on the side of the road in Pune. His face was covered in foam and a shaving brush was held tightly in his hand. He was about to shave.
Unusually around here, this man didn't seem to have any intention of keeping a beard or mustache. The man who was about to shave with shaving cream gave me a quick glance when he noticed me. It was a sharp look. He looked at me like he was asking if shaving cream was unusual enough to be photographed.
