I visited the Church of San Pedro y San Pablo. And I found a group wearing Charro outfits standing in front of the entrance. They were the members of a Mariachi. After a short while, they started to play for the prayer coming to the church. The two men were in charge of the violin.
After playing, they also entered into the church. It might be common to visit a church with Mariachi. The music could lift the worshipers up.
