A woman wearing a conical hat was standing by the building in the market while she was crossing her arms in front of her chest. She seemed to be waiting for a passenger vehicle. Though that sort of hats was very popular in Vietnam which was a neighboring country, not so many women in Laos wore it.
There were various ethnic minorities in this country. And they wore their own ethnic hat. I hope the tradition didn't vanish in the future.
