Row Of Torii In The Woods

row of torii in the woods

The enormous number of Torii stood

Shot at Fushimi Inari Taisha, a Shinto shrine in Kyoto.

The main hall stands on the top of the mountain and the whole mountain belongs to its precinct. And many mountain trails are running in the mountain. The Torii, a gateway is built all over the place and they make the paths like a tunnel. I wondered how many Torii stood here.

There was a row of the Torii just in front of me. I thought they opened the mouth as if they invited into the historical precinct.
