Many old architectures were well preserved in the city of Sawara and they are the tourist attractions now.
When I walked around the streets, I found some old fashioned storage houses. They seemed to be still used. Once this city flourished by the transportation by water. So they might be the remnants. Although the doors were closed tightly, the upstairs windows were opened. The clunky appearance was invested with an air of dignity.
