I came to the Presidential Office Building because it was built as the office of the Governor General of Taiwan during the Japanese rule. So the building has been the seat of this island and it was guarded by soldiers.
The soldier in this photo was one of them. He had an assault rifle in his hands and was keeping close tabs. When I asked him for shooting, he closed his eyes. He pretended he didn't see what I did and allowed me to shoot.
