Smile Of A Young Rickshaw Wallah

Young rickshaw man smiling
Shot in the Old Dhaka, Bangladesh Tetsu Ozawa

The rickshaw man waited for customers by the roadside

The stubble-faced young man in the photo was a rickshaw wallah. And he waited for customers coming by the roadside. Yet the customers seemed to be long coming. Nevertheless, he seemed happy. He waited with his friends while they chatted. When I focused on him, he showed his smile.

It was said that the number of cycle rickshaws in Dhaka was more than the total number of stars. The task of rickshaw wallah could be the most stereotypical job here.
