Both the father and the son I met in Dhaka smiled at me
In Dhaka, I met a father walking with his shaved head son. I asked if I could take their picture, and he graciously stood in front of my camera. The stubbled father smiled as he held his son in his arms, and the boy in his arms smiled cheerfully at the same time.
In Bangladesh and other South Asian countries, many men have thick beards. People like this father are not uncommon. In contrast to his shaggy cheeks, the young boy's cheeks were plump. He has yet to grow a beard. But it will only be a matter of time. When he grows up, this face must be full of beard, too.
