The area around Senso-ji Temple is densely packed with stores and restaurants. Yoshiwara is also close by. Although this area used to be one of the most prosperous areas in Tokyo before the war, it is not so crowded anymore. Even though there are crowds of people in the Nakamise and the precincts of Senso-ji Temple, it is very quiet when you leave the area.
There are signs on the streets with few people, and overhead there are many power lines. At the end of the alley, the Skytree towered above us. I knew the Skytree was taller than the rest. The combination of modern buildings and old-fashioned alleys was a nice touch.
