Came to Shinjuku. The east exit of the Shinjuku station was bustling as always. The Shinjuku-Dori street which stretched from the station became a pedestrian paradise at that time. And many pedestrians walked around the carriageway. Once I could see many street performers when the street was a traffic-free zone. Yet no one performs on the street recent days. Perhaps the street performance might be regulated by the police authority. It was regrettable. And I wondered where the sideshow artists moved. The Shinjuku-Dori was a nice place to seek out attention.
Although the street performers vanished, many people still walked the street at leisure. The afternoon sun was strong. And the pedestrians were silhouetted.
