It was raining heavily in Shinjuku. People were walking on the wet sidewalks. Some people were walking with umbrellas, others without them. Those without umbrellas all shrugged their heads and walked hurriedly.
Regardless of whether they had umbrellas or not, the people on the sidewalk were all reflected in the road surface. The wet surface of the road was like a mirror, and it made me feel as if there was another world inside the mirror. And it was raining in that other world, just like in the real world.
