The bridge was spanned unceremoniously
A pedestrian bridge was spanned over the busy street. Many tall buildings stood around here and most of the ground was covered by the shadows of the buildings.
Yet the bridge was in the sunny spot. The sunlight just came through the urban canyon. And the small pedestrians on the bridge were silhouetted. All of them walked at a brisk pace. During I watched, I felt as if I saw a miniature of a cityscape.
