A boy was standing at a water place in an alleyway in Mumbai. The boy's face was covered in foam as he turned around when he noticed the presence of me and my camera. He was just in the middle of shampooing his hair. Not only was his face covered with bubbles, but his whole head was also covered with foam.
Walking around the city of India, I saw men washing at a water place on the side of the road, and other men washing in the water of a river. From the looks of it, I guess that there are no baths at home. That's why many people wash up on town corners and in rivers.
Despite the need to wash up, there is no such thing as a public bathhouse here, and if you bring something like the spa and bath that are popular in Japan, it might appeal to local people.
