The rain had already stopped, but some people were still sheltering from the rain. Walking along Kyauktan, I saw a stall on the side of the road and a man and a woman sitting side by side at the counter of the stall. The woman held an open umbrella in her hand, even though she was under a roof. From the looks of it, the two sitting on top of the counter displaying their wares were not working at this stall. They were probably taking shelter from the rain here because it started raining while they were walking. They had rested once and seemed to have no energy to move even after the rain had stopped, so they continued to shelter in the rain.
The stall was in bad shape. The roof was a patchwork, and the picture was broken. It might have been abandoned without anyone using it. It is difficult to imagine someone happily working here. The shabbiness of the place seems to be felt by people, and the man sitting at the counter has a somber expression on his face. He was staring at the wet road surface without doing anything.
