Walking on the riverside, I found many silhouetted people in the Mahananda river. They were washing their body in the water. Some people were just shampooing. Some people were scrubbing the grime from their body. After they finished washing, they disappeared into the water to clean the foam.
The place looked like a public bath. Although it was free of charge, it was impossible to soak in the hot water like public baths in Japan.
