I was walking along the banks of the Nam Khanh River, which empties into the Mekong River. Someone was making a bonfire on the riverbank. This is a very picturesque spot, with bridges made of bamboo. While I was relaxing on the peaceful riverside, I saw a mass of iron coming from far away, despite the peaceful atmosphere. It was an airplane flying in from the other side. The silhouette of the plane, small but recognizable, floated above the river. Luang Prabang International Airport is a few kilometers from here. I guessed that many tourists like me would be coming to the town again.
