The Senso-Ji is one of the major tourist attractions in Tokyo. So the precinct was filled with the worshipers. It was stuffy. To walk around and to pray in the main hall in the crowded precinct were wearisome.
Many tired people were sitting on the staircase in the main hall. The shaded steps could be a nice place to take a rest. Although they got tired, they sat neatly. They sat along the handrail and seemed not to intervene other worshipers.
