Agape Baby

Agape baby

The baby was held by its father

Shot at Senso-Ji, a Buddhist temple in Asakusa, Tokyo.

When I stood near the big incense burner placed on the approach, many worshipers came and went. Everyone made a brief stop at it before entering the main hall. A father who carried his baby in front of his chest also came.

During he basked the smoke from the burner, the baby looked vacant. It couldn't understand what was done. It looked into the distance with its mouth agape. Yet it seemed to enjoy the blissful moment.
