I was standing on the side of the road in Rangpur. It was a busy road. Anyway, Bangladesh is a very densely populated country, so the roads are crowded with people everywhere. As I stood there, a lot of vehicles were passing in front of me. Unlike Japan, most of the vehicles running were pedicabs called cycle rickshaw. There were not so many cars on the road in Rangpur.
The cycle-rickshaw itself is human-powered, so it doesn't make noise, but the cyclist is ringing the bell all the time while it is running and it was very noisy. Here, instead of the sound of the engine, the sound of the bell of the bicycle was ringing incessantly.
