Passing Wheels

Wheels of cycle rickshaw

The flow of the cycle rickshaw was unintermitted

Shot in the city of Rangpur, Bangladesh.

I was standing on the side of a road. The road was busy. Bangladesh was one of the densely populated countries. So every street was crowded with people. Standing, many vehicles were passing by me.

Unlike in Japan, most of the vehicles running here were cycle rickshaws. I didn't see many automobiles here. Cycle rickshaws themselves didn't make a sound. Yet their driver was ringing a bell a lot while they were pedaling. They seemed to assert their presence.
