Standing by the roadside, I watched the traffic. Motor scooters and motorbikes were coming in a seamless way. Local people rode motorbikes much more than cars here. The customs duty of importing cars was so high that the common people couldn't purchase them. Therefore, the streets in Ho Chi Minh city were filled with motorbikes.
It was said that an adoption rate for cars was about 3% in Vietnam. The rate might get higher in no distant future.
