Below me ran the wide streets of Bogra. The asphalt-paved street was crowded. Of course there were cars, but the leading actor was the cycle rickshaws. The streets were filled with countless cycle rickshaws.
Although the roads were quite busy, there were no traffic signals anywhere. Therefore, pedestrians had to cross the road in between the continuous flow of cycle rickshaws. Crossing the road is a bit challenging for me as a tourist, but for the locals it is something they do on a regular basis. I saw some people crossing the road casually while talking on their cell phones. It may be a matter of course for the locals.
