The old man sat alone in the lane
I finished an excursion and came back to Bangkok. And I rambled along the lanes again. Spending some days in this big city, I could grasp the outline of this city. Because Bangkok is modern, I have nothing to do in the modern part of this city. I found that what I wanted lied on near the canal. There were many canals in Bangkok. And many ordinary people went about their daily lives there.
So I entered into the lanes near the canals as soon as I saw the entrance. This time, I also walked around such lane. It was flanked by the low-rise dwellings. And I met the locals sometimes. When I gave them a greeting, they replied cheerfully. While doing that, I felt as if I was a member of the dwellings.
However, there were some people who gave me an overdramatic reaction. The old man in this photo was a kind of people. He was surprised at the fact that a strange foreigner appeared in his place to live.
