The girl playing around the streets seemed to be much bashful than boys in Bangladesh. Although boys were attracted by my camera and came to me at full stretch, few girls gathered around me. I didn't know whether it was caused by the gender role or not. At any rate, women might be required to act moderately here because the major religion in Bangladesh was Islam.
The girl in the photo was one of the few who was interested in having the picture taken. Yet she seemed timid.
