A mirror was placed on the roadside in the old town of Patan. The surface was dirty and did not look like it was for sale. I didn't know why it was placed there. It was as if someone had forgotten it here.
As I absentmindedly looked in the mirror, I saw a man walking a bicycle in the mirror. As I watched, I suddenly thought to myself. Perhaps it had been placed there so that a passerby could groom himself. But is there such a thing as kindness?
In any case, the mirror was quietly reflecting the alleyways of the old town, both in the rain and in the wind.
