The street in Rangpur was wide and many vehicles ran. An old man who was stripped to his waist was sitting by the roadside under the strong sun. He wore just a Lungi and was bare feet. Although he erected an umbrella beside him to avoid the sun, it was too small to behave. So he put a cloth on the umbrella to make the shade wider.
I thought he got a burn when he sat there for a long time. Yet, the most important thing was that no customers came to his small shop at the time of being. No pedestrian walked the street and no vehicles stopped in front of him. He cast an eye on me helplessly while he tucked his legs. There was little that could be done.
