Little Boy Having A Thin Rod

Little boy playing with thin wooden rod

The little boy played with a thin wooden rod

Shot in the city of Thanlyin, Myanmar.

Walked a silent path in the small village near the Oak Pho Su Station. This village was not a tourist destination. So I was an extraneous substance here. Nevertheless, the local people didn't try to do away me. They just looked at me without getting too close. They tended to be confused. However, I didn't meet many local dwellers.

The boy in this photo was one of a few villagers I met in the village. This boy played in the path alone. When he found me, he stopped playing and came to me. And he stood with his shoulders squared in front of me. A thin rod was in his hand. His appearance looked like a kind of instructor. Although I didn't know the reason, it reminded me of Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in the movie 'Full Metal Jacket'.
