Couple Lighting Off Incense Sticks

Couple lighting incense stick

Many people were in front of the main hall

Shot at Senso-Ji, a Buddhist Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo.

This temple is always crowded. Many people were strolling about the precinct also on that day. Especially, the place around the incense burner was jammed. Everybody made a brief stop at it before entering into the main hall.

A man and a woman in this photo was standing near the charcoal stove. They were just firing up their incense sticks together. Then, they went the incense burner and stuck the incense stick in the burner.
