Insanity In Senso-Ji

Statue with fierce look

The statue had a fierce look

Shot at Senso-Ji, a Buddhist temple in Asakusa, Tokyo.

The statue was standing with a knife in its hand. I felt the insanity from its eyes. It was guarding the precinct against the evils. Yet I thought that not only the evils but also the ordinary people were frightened.
