Although there were many food stalls along the road along the Mekong River, most of them were for tourists. Luang Prabang is the most popular tourist destination in Laos. It is no wonder that many stalls are lined up for tourists. The food stalls here are not inexpensive, and most of the people eating there are foreigners.
In front of one of these stalls was a young girl. She was eating her lunch in a cardboard box without saying a word. She seemed to love being in the box, but she had a buoyant look on her face. Perhaps she was lonely because her parents did not play with her. The girl seems to be left alone. Her parents are probably working at a food stall for tourists during the day.
