A woman was in a small cafe in My Tho. She was drinking Vietnamese coffee with a large glass in her hand with a friend. Coffee is a common drink in Vietnam, which was a French colony and also produces coffee beans. Considering the history, it is a bit strange that coffee is much more common than tea, even though there must have been a large influence from China. Maybe they don't like Chinese things as much as they don't like tea.
The woman glanced at me as she stirred her cup. It was as if she was asking me if I envied her. She was right. I was very jealous. The woman was drinking gracefully and seemed to be having much more fun than chatting with her friend who was sitting next to her. A gust of wind blew through the air as I held up my camera.
