Houses In The Village Of Akha Tribe

Thatched houses in village of Akha Tribe

Thatched houses stood in the village

Shot in the village of Akha tribe on outskirts of Muang Sing, Laos.

I came to a village of Akha tribe. It was located on the outskirt of the town of Muang Sing. There were houses with thatched roofs in the village. The Akha tribe was famous for its ethnic costume and I thought I could see many women who wore such costume if I came here.

In contrast with my expectation, I felt unwelcome by residents when I entered the village. They seemed to dislike any strangers or foreigners. The adults in the village behaved as if I was not there. Only children were interested in me.
