From Luang Prabang, I took a ferry boat, which is used by locals, to the other side of the Mekong River. In contrast to the town of Luang Prabang, this place did not smell touristy at all, and I did not see any tourists. After walking for a while, I came across a building that looked like a school, and beside it, there was a village of huts with thatched roofs. It seemed to be a dormitory for students. As I walked aimlessly between the huts, I saw a young man walking between them, perhaps living in one of the huts.
