On the outskirts of the town of Luang Nam Tha were rice fields. Agriculture is the main industry around here. As I walked along the road that stretched next to the rice fields, I saw a small village beyond. Some houses stood between the trees. And in the middle of the rice field, a narrow path led to the village at the back.
As I watched, two bicycles appeared and were riding along the path leading to the village. They seemed to be on their way back to the village. The rice in the fields had grown up, but the rices were not yet tied in place. It was still a long way off from the time to harvest.
