His Job Is The Earwax Removal

Man wearing physician's mirror

The man wore a physician's mirror

Shot in the city of Bogra, Bangladesh.

The man in this photo was sitting on the sidewalk near the small park. He wore a physician's mirror on his head. Although it became uncommon to see in Japan, it was still used here. Yet he was not a doctor. His job was to clean the ear by the roadside.

The round mirror was used to see the inside of the earhole clearly. In South Asian countries, I often saw the people doing the earwax removal on the street. The job seemed to be a popular here.
