There was more than one man waiting his turn at a barbershop I passed in Mumbai. There were other men waiting as well. This barbershop may be a local favorite because there are barbershops all over the city, but people go out of their way to wait in line.
The other man stood in front of the barbershop's cloudy mirror. He was wearing a shirt with epaulets. At first, I thought he was waiting his turn, but apparently not. He seemed to have already had his hair cut and was making small talk with the other customers with a refreshed look on his face. He wasn't waiting for his turn, but it was a busy barbershop in any case.
When I pointed the camera at the man standing in front of the mirror, he looked down at me with his sparkling eyes.
