The open market of gems called Manik Pola was held in the street. The market was crowded and many people were dealing gems there. These men were showing their gems each other in the street. Most people were male and seemed to be Muslims. They sold and bought on a negotiation basis.
Everybody was absorbed in doing business and few people noticed me. Because they were playing for keeps, they didn't have time to deal with tourists.
