The gate with a tiled roof in this photo was 'Zuijin-Mon' which was built in 1697. I went through the gate and entered into the precinct.

Although there was a prayer hall in the precinct, there were no places where the deities were stationed. The place which was believed to contain the spirit of a deity was not in this precinct, but in the mountain towered behind the hall. And this shrine was built at the base of the mountain. Some shrines had this kind of structure in the Shintoism.
