After I went through the long cloister, I came to the public road. Around the place was a residential area. The precinct of Kibitsu Jinja was ended. The dwellings were close-packed there. And the road was deserted. Thinking I came out of the precinct, I found a stone Shinto gateway called Torii stood at the end of the road. So the area was once in the precinct and this way seemed to be still one of the approaches to the shrine. Therefore, the Torii stood in the middle of the public road.
Looking around, I saw a woman wearing a hat standing by a bicycle. I couldn't feel the atmosphere of the sanctuary by watching this scenery.
