Every town in Mexico has a central plaza called the Zocalo, which is a place of relaxation for the locals. Young and old alike sit on the benches placed in the Zocalo and relax.
In Tehuantepec, too, many locals were relaxing in a square called a socaro in the center of town. The boy in the photo is one of them. He had such plump cheeks that I was afraid he might fall off. When I pointed my camera at him, he smiled at me.
