Drumming Young Woman

Young woman drumming

Her face was serious

Shot during the Sanja Matsuri festival which is one of the biggest festival in Tokyo.

Along the divine palanquin, some wagons were also walking down the streets. On one of them, some young women wearing a Happi were riding. A big drum was placed in front of them and they were drumming. The drum was critical to the festival.

The sound of the percussion instrument excited people so much. Although it was a hot day and many people soaked up the festivities, the woman on the wagon seemed to get her temper under control. She drummed without saying a word.
