The boy appeared in the deserted lane
This old town was built on the hillside of Mount Zerhoun. So the lanes in the old quarter were not only narrow but also uneven. Although the alleyways were flanked with houses, I didn't feel a presence of dwellers. The alley was wrapped with the silence. And I could enjoy the atmosphere.
A boy was descending and coming when I was standing alone in the bottom of the stairway. During rambling along the lanes, some locals came out of nowhere.
