The streets in this old city were narrow and uneven. When people built them, they had never seen any automobiles. So the major means of conveyance in this old quarter was still donkeys. It couldn't be changed for hundreds of years. I saw many working donkeys during rambling along.
One of them stood in the lane and watched a woman walking. Though donkey could not speak, it observed the world fixedly. And they might talk about what they saw within the fold of them.
