The silhouetted worshipers were seen around the incense burner

Shot at Senso-Ji, a Buddhist temple in Asakusa, Tokyo.

The smoke was coming from the big incense burner which was placed in the midst of the approach way to the main hall. Some people were standing around it. The sunlight was strong. All the people and the architectures on the approach were silhouetted.

I felt as if I watched the shadow play without scenario. The worshipers moved in slow motion. During I watched, a bicycle which was also silhouetted passed over the stage.
