Worshipers And Shadow Of Torii

Shadow of Torii on ground

A shadow of Torii fell down on the ground

Shot at Meiji Jingu, a Shinto shrine in Harajuku, Tokyo.

There were some Torii on the approach before reaching the prayer hall. It was a clear day. So the shadow of Torii fell down on the stone-paved ground boldly.

And the worshipers heading to the hall walked on the shadow. Although the shadow was stepped by many people, it seemed not to care about that. And the worshipers didn't, neither. Yet when I stopped and watched it, I thought it was asserting itself strongly on the ground.
