Deserted Approach On The Other Side Of Torii

Umbrella on other side of Torii

Only an umbrella was walking

Shot at Meiji Jingu, a Shinto shrine in Harajuku, Tokyo.

Most of the worshipers came to the prayer hall through the main approach. Yet there were other approaches in the shrine. The road in the photo was one of them. An older woman who was putting an umbrella up was walking on the other side of Torii.

As you see, few worshipers use this approach. The approach was stretching into the woods and the older woman was vanishing into the dimness during I watched her.
