Shot at Meiji Jingu, a Shinto shrine in Harajuku, Tokyo.
When New Year's day comes, the precinct is crowded with worshipers like a rush-hour melee. Yet it was not so crowded because it was New Year's Eve. Nevertheless, many worshipers were walking the approach unexpectedly. And I saw many foreign tourists there. The shrine seemed to be included in their tourist routes.
The trees grew thick and the approach was flanked by them. And I found a couple walking close together in the sunny spot.
