Shot at the harbor of Sarahama in Irabu, Okinawa.
The woman wrapping her neck with a scarf was working at the harbor. In front of her, an ocean-fresh fish was placed and she had a brush in her hand. She was just removing the scales from the fish, probably a kind of parrotfish, with the brush.
The scale was hard and it seemed to be hard to remove. She wore a cotton work glove on her left hand. She was rubbing again and again. Because the harbor was wrapped with the silence, the rasping sound echoed around her.
