There was a market in Ubud that sold fresh food, but the main attraction was souvenirs. Ubud has always been a popular tourist destination, so it was no wonder. As I walked through the market, I came across a store that sold caps.
Inside the store, there were literally piles of caps, and a man was sitting in front of the piles of caps. I looked at them and saw that many of them had the logos of Nike and other global brands printed on them. I wonder who buys these things.
I would like to believe that not many people would buy a cap with Nike's logo on it as a souvenir from Bali. But I don't think all the locals would buy them either. I imagine that tourists from other countries buy them because they are fed up with the strong sunshine of this island.
